Currency Converter, by Lakeside Digital

Email scanlystudio.support@proton.me and a person will answer. Please say which phone you are on and what you were doing when it went wrong. It usually saves a round trip.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

The weekly subscription is billed by Google Play, not by us, so it is cancelled there: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Currency Converter → Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the week you have already paid for runs out.

If you bought the lifetime option, there is nothing to cancel: it is a one-time purchase and it does not renew.

I paid but the app still asks me to

Tap Restore on the plan screen. That asks Google Play for purchases made with the Google account currently signed in on the device, so if you bought it with a different account, switch to that one first. If Restore still finds nothing, email us with the order number from your Google Play receipt and we will sort it out.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Google. Request a refund at play.google.com → Order history using the Google account you bought with, or email us and we will help.

Where do the rates come from, and how fresh are they?

Rates come from the European Central Bank reference rates (via Frankfurter) and from ExchangeRate-API. The app shows when the rates on screen were last updated. Without a connection it keeps using the last rates it downloaded.

Moving to a new phone

Your currencies and settings live only on the phone you set them up on. There is no account or cloud copy on our side. Your purchase moves with your Google account: tap Restore on the new phone.

Deleting your data

Your data is stored on your phone and nowhere else, so uninstalling the app deletes it. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
