The short version. The app is yours to use for your own conversions. Purchases are made through Google Play, and subscriptions renew until you cancel them in the Play Store. Everything you enter stays on your phone.

Agreement

These terms apply to your use of Currency Converter (“the app”), published by Lakeside Digital. By installing or using the app you agree to them. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download and to any purchase.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows this.

Purchases and subscriptions

Some features require a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact price, billing period are shown on the plan screen before you confirm. There is no free trial.
Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it before then. Cancel in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
The lifetime option is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Exchange rates

Rates come from public sources (European Central Bank reference rates via Frankfurter, and ExchangeRate-API) and are shown with the time they were last updated. Offline, the app uses the last rates it downloaded. They are reference rates for information only: banks, card issuers and exchange offices apply their own rates and fees, so the amount you actually pay or receive can differ. Do not rely on the app for trading or other financial decisions.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be flagged in the app.
